Active Pedestrian Safety for Cars

Advanced technological development of several generations of active pedestrian protection systems. Initial ideas are tested on a multifunctional test rig and we have studied all aspects of this technology from sensors to actuators. Various systems with mechanical and pyrotechnical energy sources have been designed, constructed and tested. Innovative electrical and pyrotechnical trigger devices have been developed. A sensor was designed with development and construction of test rigs and a series of tests carried out and evaluated at HS Products Engineering.
